PERSONAL HIGHLIGHTS
Immigrating to the US with her parents and two siblings to escape religious persecution and discrimination, Ribka grew up in rural west Michigan. Her parents worked hard to create a life for their children. Ribka's father worked at a fast-food restaurant, while her mother took classes to become a teacher. With an unwavering focus on education, her parents encouraged all three children to go to college. After completing two bachelor’s degrees concurrently, Ribka began her professional career as an engineer, but identified her passion for organizational effectiveness early in her career. She completed her MBA to facilitate a transition to human resources. These experiences have shaped Ribka's values, beliefs, work-ethic, and approach in her professional and personal life.
Now with more than 25+ years of human resources experience in a variety of industries, including non-profit, healthcare, e-commerce, and entertainment, Ribka is an experienced people-centric leader. She has led teams in large and small organizations with oversight of all Human Resources functions. Her HR leadership experience includes organizations such as Honeywell, Quest Diagnostics, and The California Endowment.
The transition to consulting has enabled Ribka to broaden her impact and work with a variety of clients to address their unique organizational needs. In addition, she enjoys the opportunity to provide strategic, executive-level HR support to clients that may not have the ability to hire a full-time CHRO.
